Rosh Hashana & Yom Kippur 5785: A Time for Reflection, self-love and Renewal

1

Rosh Hashana
Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, is a sacred time for deep introspection and spiritual renewal. It invites us to pause, reflect, and set transformative intentions for the year ahead. Through contemplative practices and heartfelt connection, we open ourselves to the profound healing and personal growth that this celestial portal offers.
Yom Kippur
Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is a profound and mystical journey of the soul. In this powerful time of fasting and prayer, we are called to courageously face our shadows, release our burdens, and attune to the divine light within. By cultivating self-compassion and forgiveness, we are reborn, empowered to live with greater authenticity and purpose.

The Founders & Spiritual Guides
Rabbi-Cantor Gastón Bogomolni
Rabbi-Cantor Gastón Bogomolni is a professional with extensive experience in various pulpits across the United States, Latin America, and Europe. He has led Jewish communities for 34 years, always within the Conservative Movement and the European Progressive Movement.
From his vast experience as a Jewish clergy leading services from the pulpit and educating adults, adolescents, and children, he has felt the call to create an independent movement, separate from the traditional streams of Judaism, where love for the Creator, forgiveness, healing, self-love, joy, and love for creation and humanity are the mission. A movement with zero tolerance for judgment. Rabbi Bogomolni has led communities in Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos, Argentina, Santo Domingo and Sosúa in the Dominican Republic, Barcelona in Spain, and in Florida, Massachusetts, and Nebraska in the United States. To achieve a greater spiritual impact on youth, Rabbi Gastón worked tirelessly as the Tefilah (prayer) specialist at Solomon Schechter Jewish Day School in Boston and served as the music department director at Camp Ramah in New England during the summers.
At the age of 18, Rabbi Bogomolni received a full scholarship to deepen his studies on the Holocaust for a full month at Yad Vashem, the world's most important Holocaust Institute in Israel.
Among his accomplishments, he was ordained as a professional cantor by the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary and also by the Cantors Assembly of the Conservative Movement, based in NY/Ohio, where he has been a member for the last 22 years until today, serving on the Executive Board for 2 years and on the Board of Directors for 7 years. He co-wrote and co-edited the first Anthology of Latin American Compositions for Shabbat services "Ruach Hadarom".
In his academic training, he studied at the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary for 5 years under the rigorous academic program of the Heschel Rabbinical School, leading to ordination within the Conservative Movement. He also taught at the Bet Asaf School for 7 years, training professional cantors. However, in his spiritual growth, his soul led him to recognize internal changes that did not allow him to continue with this philosophy and religious current, and he decided to receive his ordination as a rabbi through the non-denominational Rabbinical Academy, Adas Wolkowisk of NYC, to carry out a mission where there is no division between souls; rather, he helps souls reconnect with each other.
Additionally, Rabbi Bogomolni earned a degree in Singing and Vocal Pedagogy from the University of Nebraska in Omaha (UNO). He also earned his first master's degree in Ethnomusicology from the University of Sheffield in England, where he understood the crucial influence of humanity in creating music and how it is a vital part of forming cultural bonds around the world. Additionally, Rabbi Bogomolni earned a second master's degree in Third Waves Therapies from the Higher Institute of Psychological Education in Barcelona, Spain, where he learned the power of meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, music, sound, theater, and dance, among other techniques to heal and elevate human vibration, which he now incorporates into his workshops and spiritual experiences to contribute to the healing of those who allow him to serve.
In search of helping himself further and supporting others in their healing process, Rabbi Bogomolni, passionate about therapeutic arts, additionally obtained 3 more diplomas, revealing his passion for education as well as his openness to innovation and spiritual healing.
The first is a diploma in Brief Therapy from the Brief Therapy Center of Palo Alto, California, the pioneering and most prestigious institute in the world for brief healing and intervention.
The second is a certificate as an Energy Healer through Vocal Emission and Sound (SoundTouch) from the Mandala Institute, School of Sound and Healing Arts, directed and founded by experienced and renowned therapist Karina Quiroga, who enjoys international prestige in the holistic healing arts.
The third diploma is from the Ayeka Institute in Israel, founded by Rabbi Aryeh ben David, focused on the diaries of Rav Kook, the first Chief Rabbi of Israel, a supreme mystic and author of several channeled writings revealed to the world by his students only 15 years ago for the enlightenment of the planet.
In addition, Rabbi Gastón is a graduate as an instructor of the ancient Jewish technique Musar, which supports the growth and refinement of human behavior from the Musar Institute (TMI) in NYC. This technique, widely used in yeshivot worldwide, helps refine the human soul as a mechanism to reveal the light and holiness in every soul. The technique originated in the 10th century in Babylon by Saadia Gaon, author of several works, including The Book of Beliefs.
Rabbi Gastón is certified as a pre-marital course instructor in the courts of the state of Florida. Both Rabbi and Rebbetzin Marcela Gomez-Bogomolni are co-owners of TAL Community Mental Health Center in Miramar, Florida, and co-founders of the non-profit organization Tzimtzum Corp.
Serving the community is a highly important motto for Rabbi Gastón, who has also served as an active member on several committees and boards of internationally recognized organizations:

She takes on a multifaceted role, serving as a mentor, teacher, and guide for individuals seeking spiritual growth and personal transformation.
In her role as a Rebbetzin, she embraces a holistic approach, recognizing the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. She encourages individuals to cultivate a deep connection with themselves, others, and the divine, emphasizing the importance of balance, self-care, and overall well-being. She may offer guidance on meditation, mindfulness practices, and other techniques aimed at nurturing the spiritual, emotional, and physical aspects of a person's life.
Born in Colombia, Rebbetzin Marcela immigrated to the United States as a young journalist at the age of 19. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Social Work and received her master's degree in clinical social work from Florida International University. She worked as a journalist covering politics, immigration, and community topics in Miami-Dade for over 10 years. As a journalist, Marcela was very clear and passionate about sharing the truth and helping the community be informed on facts rather than deception by holding decision-makers and public servants accountable. As an activist and community leader, Marcela advocates for social justice. For the past 23 years, she has promoted self-sufficiency and education for the entire community, particularly for immigrant and refugee communities.
She has been an activist and in 2020 ran for School Board Chair inside Miami Dade County to improve the different programs of public schools dedicated to decreasing the number of self-harm incidents. She has received several awards and was recently nominated as one of the most influential 50 Hispanic Women in the US. Marcela has studied Kabbalah and mysticism for the last 27 years with several teachers and masters, which is how she became interested and drawn to Judaism.
Rabbi Gastón and Marcela own TAL Community Mental Health Center to impact the larger community in South Florida.
